I now have a damp coop to get dry before the hens toddle up to bed and it's DRIZZLING so can't leave it open to the elements to dry out - GRRRRRRRRRRR! Mercedes55 Posted October 9, 2010 Share Posted October 9, 2010 We spent about 5hrs today cleaning out our Eglu and Cube and putting up some different levels in the WIR for our new girls and also putting up some tarps all along the back of the WIR and along one side, which meant taking down all the gutters on the back of the WIR, quite a chore really. By the time we had done that we were both so exhausted we had to stop for the day. Lavenders_Blue Posted October 10, 2010 Author Share Posted October 10, 2010 The annoying thing is that it was warm and dry all day up to the point I finished cleaning the coop It was more or less dry by the time the girls went to bed so I put new bedding in and left the coop door open overnight so it had a chance to air.
