brambles
My lovely partridge Cochin seems to have sore pink skin on the top of her foot. There is no sign of swelling on the foot. I am wondering if it is because of her heavily feathered feet occasionally getting damp. I purple sprayed her a few weeks ago but they look pink again. Any advice? Surer I saw tea tree and vaseline mentioned somewhere - I do have some tea tree cream for humans, would that be ok? Am trying to make sure that her run is dry, but she does come out on the grass and that can get wet at this time of year.
Christian
One of mine often has pink feet. I noticed it first when it was snowing earlier in the year, and she gets it every so often. Just increased blood supply I think? She doesn't have any signs of damage/infection, so I think it is just the way she is. As long as it doesn't seem to be affecting her, no limping etc, I wouldn't worry.
brambles
Thank you. I'll keep an eye on it along with the other usual health checks.
