staceychristie
Hi, Anyone know where you can get chicken jumpers from? Poor Rosie has lost all her remaining feathers off her backside (no injuries or feather pecking just moulting) but with cold weather on the way, where can I get a jumper from? Thanks Stacey
coco
Ex batt Lily moulted alll through the snowy weather last year and she was absolutely fine, I just made sure she had plenty of protein and gave them warm pellet mash everyday. She had only been out of the cages for two months.
staceychristie
Oh bless Lily. Think she'll be ok, but she really is a baldy bum, with two feather shafts of her tail remaining Stacey X
Egluntyne
I wouldn't bother if she is well, tbh. They get filthy and can be hazardous if the get snagged on something. I'd up her protein intake and leave her to regrow her new feathers. There is a new product called **Total Moulting Solution** which I'm using at the moment, and I can see some new growth on my knickerless girls after a couple of weeks.
