Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

I am thinking of extending the run on my eglu classic, and after looking at the extention and convertor kits A and B in the omlet shop., I am perplexed as to what the difference is between them. They look exactly the same. Does any one have any experience of these and tell me why you need kit A to fit kit B.

I was thinking of ordering an extension and if I understand correctly, you need the extension part A first (to make the end a certain shape and size) and after that you can add as many B parts as you wish.

That's right. Order Ext A (which makes a 3m run) and then Ext B for any further metre lengths.

I don't have one but I think it's because the eglu run gets wider as it gets longer, so you need Kit A to straighten the sides out otherwise to add extra length you'd need constantly bigger sections.

Yup - the converter (A) has one sloping side which evens out the run shape. You can stop there or add one or more B kits
