bluekarin
I have just received a lovely pair of black suede Duo boots I won on ebay (a hard fought battle, I can tell you) and wore them out this morning (after scotch guarding them). Unfortunately, what with it being wet, they were a little bit slippery. I nearly went, um, bottom over chest when walking on a particularly weird bit of pavement and if my DS wasn't there for me to grab his shoulder, I would have been on the floor in a lot of pain, instead of just him having a bit of a sore shoulder. I was wondering if anyone knew if you can have grippy soles attached to a crepe sole. I'm going to take them into town in the week and ask, but thought I'd check here. The Dogmother
No solution here, although I'm another victim of crepe soles. I have a pair of sheepskin ankle boots, which have crepe soles - they are lethal on wet leafy pavements!
