Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

... I have my chooks. Their house and run which arrived on Tuedays was put together this afternoon. So with their house already ready to go I collected them this evening They were freeranging in their previous home so were somewhat difficult to catch but with the aid of a big net they were seperated from thier siblings and parents. So now I have three chooks, Kelly, Jill and Bosley. Sorry no photos yet, one my camara battery is flat and two posting pics is beyond me right now.

 

Anyway, I've spent the rest of the evening grinning like an idiot and anouncing 'I've got chickens'

 

Unfortunatly I have to work tommorrow I'd much rather be chook watching.

Tell me about it. I was admiring the darling little chicks (silver laced partridge, I think) that my three's mother had hatched recently. Some of them might be in need of a home a few months down the line

Also my uncle mentioned his neighbours were getting rid of their chooks.....

 

Surely I shouldn't have morehenitus already
