Hi Everyone,

 

Do you live in the Richmond area? If so, keep on reading....

 

Grey Court School has launched a community project which will enable the school to undertake the first phase of a larger project which is to set up a small animal farm. This phase would involve the purchase of hens, poultry housing (they are quite excited about the prospect of an Eglu Product) and equipment to rear them, to encourage students and local people to get involved in producing locally grown fresh food. Children will also be encouraged to hatch their own chickens and local people will also benefit from training and volunteering opportunities.

 

The school is having a community event this Saturday 6th November 2010 to tell locals more about the project they are looking for existing Eglu Owner who may be able to give an hour of their time to to answer any questions people may have on keeping chickens. We will be supplying an Eglu Classic for the day and hoped that you might be able to help us, the only snag is you would need to take along a couple of your chickens to show off....

 

The event is at Ham Library in Richmond from 11am until 12pm this Saturday and it would be great if you were willing to help....
