Cinnamon Posted November 24, 2010 Share Posted November 24, 2010 Just been reading in the Radio Times that 'Toast' the fabulous book by Nigel Slater,about his early years,has been adapted for TV for the Christmas period Make sure you all watch it - I am sure it will be as brilliant as the adaptation of 'My Family & Other Animals' a couple of years ago. Helena Bonham Carter is playing Nigels mum Looking forward to the remake of 'Upstairs Downstair's too, which should fill the Downton sized hole in my schedule! One to watch......when I was little, my sister and I would go through the Radio and TV Times with a felt tip and asterisk all the films and progs we wanted to watch over Christmas.....sad huh??
