Anyone else tried this, or indeed do it? I bought a set of blades and some lino and have now designed and cut a simple holly motif to use on present tags. I found it very theraputic to be honest.

 

I'll try and get pics up sometime soon, as soon as I can locate my camera (again I really ought to give it a real place to live)

the only lino cutting I did was at college during my Alevel art course. We did it for lino printing. I quite liked it too, how the lino came away like butter. We have to do different layers for the print so we could get different colours and shading. Really good fun

My mum in law has done it on a one day intensive, and is now furiously cutting and printing , it looks rather beatutfiul. I did it at school....and would like to again...but not enough time. I would like to see some pics..I'm a fan of Japanese printing.
