Cinnamon
At the moment we have Sky TV and BT phone lines & Broadband. My BT contract has just ended,so I am looking at bundling everything together for a better deal, but have no idea where to start. I have looked at the Sky site, but its really confusing,so I guess I need to phone them for a chat. Is anyone with Sky for their Tv,phone & Broadband,or can anyone recommend someone else for me? Ain't Nobody Here
We're with Virgin Media. Can't say how they compare price-wise but I've always been happy with them. The one thing I do like is that you get far fewer TV channels - I can't be doing with trawling through 600 channels, only 6 of which I'm likely to watch . Cinnamon
I don't really want to lose Sky - I will look into Virgin for the phone & BB though
Old Speckled Hen
I'd switch to Virgin for broadband like a shot but we've no cable here and have to put up with 2MB on a good day from BT. I had sky for BB but even though the package included FREE connection they still charged us as the nearest exchange was "too far away for us to provide free broadband" Why not keep Sky and look at one of the comparison sites for broadband
Cinnamon
You are lucky to get 2mb - we can only get .5 here,& are darn lucky to get that I can see that I am going to need to take a day to sit here & trawl the sites. I have phoned BT to say that I am shopping around & would they like to tell me what they can offer me. Still waiting for a call back a week later. Annoying,as I want to know our useage on the BB,so I have something to work from.
C&T
We have Virgin, and when we compare to Sky it always comes out cheaper, and get a better Broadband speed. We have the basic package, with some of the Sports channels. Interested as to why you say you don't want to lose Sky? Think you would get a better price for a full bundle, whoever you chose to go with...
Cinnamon
As a family of varying tastes,we wouldn't want to lose any of the channels we currently have. Also we have Sky+,which we love,& I have not heard great things about the Virgin one. Not sure if it is an area issue, but we are VERY rural here, & reception is not always great,so maybe that is why a lot of my friends who have tried Virgin have now changed back to Sky??? C&T
Interesting. We have never had any issues with the Virgin Box, recording programmes etc - but doesn't mean we haven't just been lucky! Would have also thought Cable would have had a better reception than sky, but I guess that show's what I know!!! Good luck - be interested to hear what you find - it's one of those bills I would always be keen to see reduced!

Old Speckled Hen
No cable around here at all Here neither. The only cables we have are the overhead ones that supply power and phone.
