austele_1
Since all this heavy snow fall I have been unable to move the Eglu Go around the garden and I really need to now as their little bit off grass is looking worn out and they will not free range as they've taken a massive dislike to snow! Anyway, how do I defrost a large enough area of snow to move the Eglu on to? Any help would be brilliant! This is the first year I've decided I now hate snow. Steve the Gas
Warm water - enough to be able to move it. Then some more to defrost the snow on the area, watch for it freezing tho.
Plum
I think that would make it soggy or icy. How about a shovel and lot of digging. Or put a load of shavings or woodchip down where they are now.
tracker57
Yeah we have a patch of wood chip down for them, they love it! Maxx built a nest today and scratched about in the muck for about an hour! Plus when they dig around, the chip bark creates a mound where they can dig the next day!!
