Poorly chicken

Hi Guys

 

 

I have a r-com 20 pro incubator but when hatching for the first time in it this year i had quite a 4 chicks which had splayed legs,I then found a hatching mat online which is designed for that model.I have researched it and i wonder if anyone has used this and how you fit it in with the eggs in and not losing too much heat.

The hatching mat is good

 

At day 18 you simply take the eggs out and the tray that they were on (or the dividers if you ahve that model) put the hatching mat in and pop the eggs back in - takes less than a minute
