ubereglu
Hello All, Recently I've been making a lovely Debbie Bliss cardigan in some lovely yarn, Donegal Aran tweed, in a nice bluey colour. I thought I'd bought enough, as I was making a Debbie Bliss design in the exact wool specified. It said I needed 10 balls, but I need another 1 or 2 to as 10 balls was not enough. So this is a bit of a plea. I'm in search for 1-2 balls of Debbie Bliss Donegal Aran tweed in shade 10, (light blue). Please note this is NOT the luxury aran type and has been discontinued. I thought I'd found some, however the internet shop no longer sells yarn anymore even though they advertised it for sale on the oddballs website. I hope someone can help so I can finish this project... Liz

ubereglu
Yes it is...YOU ARE A STAR!!! I found them online before Christmas, but managed to lose the piece of paper I'd written their address on before I got round to ordering it. Thank you

I know how frustrating it is. I am quarter way through a crochet ripple blanket and the shop I have bought my various colour balls of wool from isn't getting any more in Well, I say isn't, they may have, but the last time I was in there to get some more green, it was the last ball. Looking forward to seeing piccys when you've done
Mrs Webmuppet
Debbie Bliss patterns are notorious bad for the amount of yarn needed. I did a Debbie Bliss jumper for LMW a few years ago and the lady on the wool shop said take no notice of the amount of wool stated on the pattern ..........as predicted by the wool shop the pattern took another two balls of wool! Well, the other pattern I did in the summer took the correct amount of yarn when I used the specified yarn, so I think it can vary quite a bit.
