Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Excuse my ignorance...could you tell me what breed of hens laid this beautiful eggs?

They are from a strain that have been developed to lay speckled eggs. The colour varies from quite palish with spots, to darker brown with freckles. If you want to know more about them just google - Higgledy Harriet Hens.

 

They were named by a little boy who's mother bought some of the first ones
