Nicola O
When I went out to see the girls earlier and have a peep in the nestboxes there was a tiny cream egg in the cube !! The cube has the 'posh girls' who had given up laying for the winter, and going by last year I wasn't expecting any of them to start up again for another 2-4 weeks - but there it was, tiny (as it's the first one I'll let her off ) but it was beautiful. I went round to the front of the run to congratulate and thank her. If next door could hear me it would just confirm to them how bonkers I am, but I know you guys understand how important it is to tell them how fantastic it is . Janty
Well done Lily! We have had a mixed week until today. Yesterday we had 1 egg, day before 4, day before that 2, etc. Then today we've had 14....yes, 14. They'll probably sleep for a month now. jennydavies
I ALWAYS thank our Girls for their precious eggs, our girls happily let us watch them lay and when you see how much effort they have to put into their egg-laying I always let them know how grateful we are. They are my little angels
