farmerJules Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 hi all....were nearing the day of purchase and have for a long time been looking for some proper light sussex and maybe silver sussex... has anyone purchased from just sussex in alton....they seem to know thier 'sussex' stuff....or is their anyone nearer me in sussex that can supply my local (pure) breed!! Daphne Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 I think its always a good sign when a breeder specialises in a breed from the confidence point of view, they should really know their stuff and be able to answer your questions. I don't have any direct experience of just sussex but they've been advertising for a few years now. Why not go and take a look, you are under no obligation if you make it clear you'd like to see and decide before you buy. The only other person I can think of, who I don't know, but they advertise on other forums and have nice looking birds is www.simplysussexpoultry.co.uk and they are in Chelwood Gate, on the Ashdown Forest.
