Sageandonion
Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, apologies if it has. Anyways Jimmy Doherty has another series starting on BBC2 on Tuesday 1st Feb at 8.00pm. It's called "A Farmer's Life for Me". 9 couples will compete to run their own 25 acre small-holding in Suffolk. The winning couple get the farm and live rent free for a year. After that they have to pay their way. In the 1st episode the couples have to choose a plot of land and show how they would make a profit from it. At the end a couple is eliminated. For all you small-holders/farmers out there or would be small-holders (me one day please ) it may be worth a watch, if nothing else there's bound to be some Chickens . bluekarin
That sounds very interesting. It's something we'd like to do one day, so that would be a good way of seeing just how hard it is. I'll add it to my note about Outcast as my with my sieve like memory I am likely to forget
