Daphne
I rushed up the garden about half an hour ago because the cockeral was shouting his head off and I thought it might be a predator. He's standing outside the coop yelling and the girls are inside it, but there's no sign of any intruder. Then I realise he is shouting and next door's girls are answering! They are in lay and my girls aren't, so although my boy prances around his harem, they just ignore him. I think he's a bit frustrated ....and possibly next door's hens are too! madchickenlady
Better watch out for him trying to scale the fence
Redwing
oooh its like Eastenders! do the neighbouring chooks have a husband of their own? If your mini trampoline goes missing you know where it is!

Daphne
Actually there is a huge trampoline next to the fence...if either party could work out what it was there for My neighbour's girls are on their own, although apparently my boy does like to look at them through the stock fencing I think I need to move him up the garden, further away from temptation! I do have a picture of him, OSH, not in full yell, fortunately. If I can get it off OH's laptop I'll try to post him.
Old Speckled Hen
I think all of our cockerel's are getting up to one mischief or another I quite like the idea of putting them all together in an album on the gallery.
