daxigirl Posted February 8, 2011 Share Posted February 8, 2011 Yesterday after a lot of bobbing in and out of the house (that was me not the hen) Moomin laid her first a dainty 42g blue egg. It was really funny as the others all kept popping in to visit her while she was in the nest box. Ok daft question coming up - I was wondering would the sudden egg production have anything to do with the 2 boys being rehomed Sat so that she felt relaxed enough to let it out a couple of days after their departure?
