Hi, ED was given a digital photo frame at xmas. We are really struggling to get it to work. It will read the SD card from her camera and play them as a slide show, but when we try to download photos onto another SD card or USB stick it won't read it. It recognises the pics as you can see them on the thumbnails but it won't do a slide show. I have downloaded the pics from the camera to a computor and them uploaded again to the memory stick / SD card, so whether I am doing something wrong then.

 

I know we could just run it with the card from her camera, but then it will have all the rubbish pics on and video and it leaves the camera without a card and the same problem when we try to upload again.

 

Any tips?

Are all the pics in the same format? (.jpeg .tiff .png etc) Have you tried formatting the SD card? Is the SD card wrie proteced? (it shouldn't be, there is a little switch on the side of the SD card)

How do you format the SD card? Sorry to be thick!

Plug it in your computer, when it shows up on My Computer, right click it and press format.
