megalin
Ok so I'm getting my knickers in a twist over calculating space for new girls.... I'm terrible at these things! We have 30 SQ foot outside at the moment and 15 SQ foot inside the coop. And we have 2 bantams and 1 large girl. I'm building a run extension and the total outside space (with our current plan) will be 80 SQ foot. I'd like to get 3 more large girls and 1 bantam (There is the capacity to separate them in our plan if they don't get on) Is this enough space? Do I need more inside or out? I've calculated that it's fine but I don't trust myself at all!! Help please mathematically competent people......
coco
I had five girls, four large one small in a 64 square foot run. I now have nine girls in a 160 square foot run. Maybe go for one less large girl. hope this helps.
