Sageandonion Posted February 19, 2011 Share Posted February 19, 2011 Pardon my ignorance but does an individual hen's egg always have the same external egg shell appearance? We had our 1st ever egg yesterday which was speckled all over. We've had another egg today which is a slightly different tinted brown but no speckles. Is it wishful thinking on our part that we've got two starting to lay or is it from the same girl. it was found in a similar place (on the floor of the house) to the one yesterday.
