LuckyChickenLover- Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 They're introducing this new English Baccalaureate (I highly doubt I spelled that correctly ) It's a new qualification type thing that is recongnised worldwide. To get it, you need to take English (lang or lit), Maths, Science (additional or triple), any Modern Foreign Language, and Humanity. On top of that you get 4 (at least I think it is 4 ) options, and you also have courses in RE (or RS, whatever you call it; Religious Eduction / Studies) and PE, although you don't get a qualification in them unless you take the full course. So yes, we do get to choose our humanity, but we HAVE to take one, and it is completely optional as to whether you take some form of art. I completely agree with you about the teachers though! Try A2 physics I was asleep in every one of my GCSE chemistry lessions, did little revision, how I managed to get a decent grade i dont know. (don't follow my example, study hard people!) mini welly Posted February 27, 2011 Author Share Posted February 27, 2011 Yes it is My teacher told me to make a presentation to show the class because apparently I am finding the work we are doing at the moment too easy. I don't like Chemistry either and I HATE Physics. I got put in the triple Science group though (which I'm happy about despite how much I would love to drop Physucks) so I can't drop it. Physics is HORRIBLE Chemistry is fun, But Biology absolutely sucks! I like science.
