Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

how do u attach the eglu to the run...I am planning on a 'go' and would like it outside the run if possible. Ive sourced a company that do a panel with a pop door but how would I go about attaching them to each other?

Thought I better at least try to find out so I can explain it the guy who'll be doing it..

i cut the wire in one panel of my wir and bent the wire back and attached the wire to the bolts that the run fitted on to ,if that makes sense ?

yes it kind of does-it will make more sense when i actually see my eglu in person so to speak. We were thinking either doing what you have said or taking the wire from a bottom panel and cutting an eglu shaped hole and getting a really snug fit into that..

 

Really not sure what to do lol...getting so excited about it all and everyday i'm thinking up different options! thank heavens i'm in work later...although i'm going to go and ask if they ahve any tables going spare....eglu sized tables..lol

There are a few threads on this topic from last year

I attached my classic to the outside via the enpekt method (great idea btw) but placed on a low table.

 

 

Its fixed to the eglu just like the run would be, with screws and washers - its a bit fiddly but does work very well.

thanks for the replies, it's certainly made things a lot clearer-i think once i see the eglu it'll become clearer what we have too work with.

 

Just to pass the time today I drew a couple of plans for the run...and added the little extra elevations, tyre dust bath and 'bridge' type levels...45 days and counting!
