coco
When doing a basic health check checking your chickens ears occasionally is probablyu a good idea. My Frizzle Fifi has a nasty ear infection but showed no symptoms, it was only by chance that I spotted it. She is now on Baytril for 5 days. Just a thought for other chicken mummies. Plum
How did you find out was it smell, discharge or?
coco
they just didn't look right, I know absolutely nothing about ears but they had this white cheesy stuff in them and were easy to look into. All the other girls earlobes are tight but her seemed loose. The vet said they were very swollen but she didn't seem bothered by it although she is back to her usual nasty little self. coco
There's not much to see. I tried looking in Saffrons tonight hoping it might be the cause of her being unwell but they seemed fine. She is shaking her head though so back to vets tomorrow.
Plum
Sounds like it could be though. Good luck at vet.
