Chicken boarders

I am totally bamboozled!

 

OH let the girls out for me this morning to give them maximum daylight hours so I didn't go into the run until late morning.

 

On opening the next box I noticed a fair few blood smears on a couple of the perches, and a few drips in various places on the hemcore. There was also blood traces on their 'landing' just outside the run.

 

I've had a look over them and can't find a thing. My tiny pekin does have blood traces on her feet feathers but I've looked all over her and found nothing. The only other thing that is different today is one of the Marans is minus a bumper bit (which I haven't found yet) but again she seems okay.

 

I've had 4 eggs today, none of them with blood on and they are in a secure WIR.

 

Is there something I've overlooked - any advice much appreciated.

It must be the day for mysterious blood , I opened the coop door this morning and there was what looked like a poo filled with blood on the house floor. The girls were pecking at it but I have no idea who it came from.

When I have found blood on perches like that it has been a cut on foot or nail. It soon dries and picks up dust so hard to spot.
