Managed to move her and her 2 eggs to a small ark in the shed, she seems to have settled so have 6 silver partridge pekins going under her tonight. It is Squeak my pilkie and she has been really sweet so far - lets me lift her off the nest to eat and drink with just a few squeaks but no pecks Any tips for warming the eggs up for tonight - they are sitting at room temp.

They should be fine going from room temp to under your broody - good luck, there's nothing quite like a broody with her babies

Popped eggs under last night and she's happily sitting on them this am I have been lifting her off for food and water - should I keep doing this or let her sort herself out ?

When I hatch with a broody I set up a a little camera on them & assess. They usually get off the eggs twice a day for a mega poo & feed up. I always make sure water is within reach of where she is sitting. If she doesn't budge at all off the eggs, then lift her off twice a day for food & water. Some are very persistent!

Thanks, I lifted her off again this am and she ate but didn't drink so I'll put water in with her. I have some corn soaking for later too She did a poo yesterday but not yet today

She's proving to be a very good Mum so far However I have to warn anyone who is thinking of putting eggs under a broody - the huge daily broody poo STINKS
