Luvachicken Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 When I cleaned out the girls this afternoon, I found a bit of soft shell and egg white in the poo tray but there was no yolk in it. I'm pretty certain they didn't eat the yolk because of where the egg was - why was there no yolk ? Could it be that one of them is going to lay me an egg soon and that was just a practise egg ? My Lohman brown chicken laid her first egg 4th march, laid decent eggs the next few days then the last few days she has been laying softshell and no yolk.
