madchickenlady
Yep, I have finally lost it. There is a tiny silkied serama cockerel currently living with my serama girls in the garage. The breeder that I got the girls from has very kindly allowed me to take him on loan, so that if he causes problems he can go back to his very nice home. We fetched him yesterday, and within minutes he had cosied up to the ladies and settled down to bed with them I have never had an integration go so smoothly I am not letting the pekins at him yet, though He didn't crow at all yesterday, but today crowed about a dozen times in succession at 9.30am, and then at lunch time. Other than that, he has been quiet as a mouse. My baby seagull impersonating pekin Doris is louder than him I had already told my next door neighbours that he was coming, and they have assured me that they don't mind and will tell me if he becomes a nuisance. I don't really know my neighbours along the bottom, so am a bit anxious as to how his arrival will be recieved This morning when he crowed, I closed the garage door and could only hear him close to the house. The real test will be if he wakes us up in the house
