Alis girls Posted March 20, 2011 Share Posted March 20, 2011 I am sure this has been aired before but went to farm to get bedding and feed for girls and the nice old boy serving me was telling me they had got 16 hens off a farmer who was being fleeced by a supermarket. They were selling his eggs for 80p for a DOZEN. The farmer rehomed them as he couldnt make a profit. shocking isnt it when you think how much they sell for in the shops.
