New hens not going into Eglu Go Up

5 days in and those chickens think they've got me wrapped round their little wings, but Im on to them! I realise I have been far too enthusiastic with the treats up till now what with the novelty and all (ive even been digging up worms for them while gardening and hand feeding them to them!).

 

Yesterday I realised that they were being very vocal every time they heard me around and about and were running up to the bars of the run clucking wildly at me. Today, pellets for breakfast ignored, but very clucky again and desperate to see what I had for them. No eggs either!

 

Im going to have to toughen up - no treats today (well not till much much later anyway).

Well, at least it didn't take you long to realise . Should be an easy habit to break if it's only been 5 days .
