She's stuffing her face, and doesn't seem to be in any pain. She's scared (as most exbatts are) and don't want to subject her to rough handling just yet. Any advice? All you can do is keep an eye on it and clean it up if it gets very gunky, to prevent it getting infected or fungussy. My hen was OK and it seemed to grow out in the end.
