Hi.. I Just found a soft shelled egg in their run. Bought it inside and opened it, and it's all bloody inside! The yolk and white is all tained red with blood!! They all look healthy but is this normal?! Ill upload a pic in a sec.

Ok the picture doesn't look very good - took it on phone. But it looks a lot bloodier and redder in real life. Is it normal

Probably nothing to worry about. Sometimes a little spot of blood appears when the ovum is released and gets incorporated into the egg further down the production line.

Hope she manages to lay a normal egg tomorrow! Just gave my neighbour some eggs, hope they werent full of blood too Thanks Egluntyne
