Ed Picaloon C Boodle
Hi all First of all, sorry if I placed this in the wrong section of the forum. Anyhow, are there any chicken dealers down in Devon, preferably close to Plymouth. I owuld like to pick up some birds, but don't really want to put them through the stress of a long journey. Many thanks. Ed

Henergy
Hello there - I live in Plymouth. We got ours from Moon Ridge Farm just outside Exeter. They were very helpful & it took up about 45 mins to get home. The chickens were fine going that distance as they just settle in the box. We have since found out that there is a place at Ivybridge called Taylor Made Poultry. I've not been there but have emailed the guy re his chicken sitting service & he seems knowledgable (if slow to answer emails !!) Both have good websites. Good luck. Groovychook
I got two of my original girls from Harepathstead Poultry, near Exeter. Lovely chooks and a really friendly, helpful chap to deal with- I'd highly recommend him! I'm hoping to visit him soon to add to my flock
Ed Picaloon C Boodle
Hi all Well I have bought myself a mighty fine looking Buff Orpington, she is settling in nicely. Unfortunately the only local place that dealt with them, was The Sine Of The Owl. I consider my purchase of her, nothing short of liberation.
