sadietoo
DS told me some weeks ago that he had a post offer visit tomorrow to his university of choice...It is some distance from us and he absolutely did not want any parentals in attendance, and so we booked his tickets on the train...and this meant that tomorrow I was due to leave the house at 4.45 am to get him to the station in time for the first of his many trains.... Tonight at 10 pm he has told me he has received a confirmatory e mail from the Uni..for the open day on the 6th April he is now whingeing that this may mean he will miss a friend's 18th birthday party and a sixth form party at a local club and so can he change the times of his train tickets to get back earlier I am trying very hard to be pleasant as it is/was mother's day but I have probably failed, as I have explained to him that any additional cost for changing the travel arrangements is coming straight out of his beer tokens!!! I am such a wicked mother sometimes!!
JillM
Nope. Sounds reasonable to me! How else is he going to learn to get things straight, and with the correct priorities too!!!
Egluntyne
Ditto! Sorry you had such an early start.
