muzzboy
I got 2 chocolate silkies and 2 light Sussex would it be ok to add another 1 or 2 to my flock of a different breed without upsetting what I got. Morehens disease
Benaberry
You can see from my sig I've got quite a random mix (morehens too...) They all seem to be mixing along quite nicely (the silkies are still settling in, but no real bullying going on) - sure someone a bit more expert might come up with some good suggestions for other breeds to look at. Tara.F
yup, I have a mixed flock too, pekins, wyandotte bantam and just added a welsummer and a light sussex. I have also had a tiny serama, an aracauna and hybrids at various stages. The littluns, I feel, should always outnumber the biguns though. Then any nastiness is diluted if you see what I mean

Chortle Chook
I've got Silkies and Frizzles together and have had not problems with introductions. I've also looked after a friend's Wyandotts for a while. I bought them for her and it was a while before she could take them. They just mixed in with my chooks, no problem. beach chick
yup, I've always mixed sizes with no problem - the most extreme was a golden sebright and a buff orp in one flock!! I think the key is SPACE - as long as they can get away from each other, several food/drinking stations it should be fine. having said that, I've never had a problem with bullying in 4 years, including loads of intros - I know, I know, it will happen!
