Unsecure chicken perches

This is a dim question ...

I was looking at the dimensions of the Cube Run compared with the Classic Run I've already got on the Omlet site. I'm puzzled to see that the Cube run is not much wider than the Classic so I just wondered if a Cube Run is actually going to give the girls any more useable space (I've already got the Cube, just need a run to go with it). I'm thinking of getting the standard 2m Cube run with at least 1 extension, I currently have a 2m classic run with one extension.

I personally think the cube run is better, you can add perches, something chickens are very grateful for. My Eglu is only used for my broody and then young chicks, I'm not sure I would want adult birds in it without free ranging. That said my little flock don't use their cube train for any thing other than sheltering in. The cube run does give more wing space and is more versatile, I think. I am a convert to Omlet, but think the cube is the cats pj's!
