My OH still doesn't want a very visible WIR and the omlet WIR is the wrong shape and size for the space we have available....I'm not sure how he's planning to disguise the woodwork though ...but anyway...as it's now getting on for two years that I've been hoping for a WIR, I just thought I'd ask .... If I glance out the window at mine now, the only place I can see it is where I have a dark-blue tarpaulin hung on the opposite side of the run. You can stain woodwork, or grow things over it - someone asked if I'd got a pergola in the garden, because the long straight roof joists and corners look a bit like that. sadietoo Posted April 23, 2011 Author Share Posted April 23, 2011 Thanks Redwing....I had forgotten about that one... personally I'd like a traditional run...I've sent off today for a quote for what used to be called a "tony" and is now a "Lewis"... and I've also shown him some of the bay animal housing runs and there may be a little bit of progress...however, he now doesn't want it 6' high now as it's apparently too big (even though I am 5'10") citing the fact that I want to put perches in it so I won't be able to stand up in it anyway...this is not all bad news though, because apparently he is happy to clean out a run which is only eye level. ...you can see why I still don't have a WIR.....
