We must be the lucky recipients of an air show or something tomorrow, because we've just been over-flown by a fighter plane doing circles round the house. It was low and in thundery clouds and it made the loudest noise I think I have ever heard in my life.

 

The chooks were terrified

 

Are we going to get square eggs tomorrow?

 

I've given them some mealworms (tasty treat!) to calm them down but I think I'm as freaked out as they are.

I know it is Southend air show this weekend but that's a fair ol way from Oxford....

They've settled down now I think. We had an air show during the last Bank Holiday weekend, but nothing as loud as today's antics. He was doing loops right over the house.
