Here are some pics of the garden makeover we did during the Easter holidays...it took us 9 full days in total...the first two days were spent digging out chicken manure from the free ranging area...70 rubble sacks in total...it was snapped up!

 

The 'chicken' control barriers are working a treat...very pleased with them...have softened them a little with solar lanterns and flowers in pots

 

We pull back the cover of the gazebo during the day so the girls get the sun and it has done the job wonderfully well by keeping out the rain...we had two long downpours here a few days ago and the ground remained dry It is only a very cheap Argos one which will need replacing...but we wanted to see if it would do the job

 

We re-used the old mesh from the previous fencing...making it a few inches higher than the top of the barriers to stop Mildred flying over into the garden

 

We are laying new turf this weekend and I cannot wait...my lawn has never recovered after my original 3 girls pecked it to death 2 winters ago

They are not heavy so perfect for a littlen like me
