I have exhausted all of my spare coops now, the Eglu has a mum and her 3 chicks, the Forsham ark a mum to be and her 2 eggs, then on my return (I've been away with my class for two nights) two more hormonal hens both deeply broody. Even my guinea pig run has a limping chicken in it. I have put the two broodies in the dog crate in the garage on my spare roosting bars aarrggghhhhh! The cube now is looking very empty with just 5 little banties living in it!

Send one my way please! I've one on some just hatching eggs but I really wanted two at roughly the same time - best laid plans and all that!

I've not had a single broody this year despite breeding Wyandottes and Pekins which are both renowned for broodiness

 

At least my trusty incubators dont let me down

Mine are Wyandottes and Pekins, the two in the garage, hopefully will be sane again soon, but this is the second time already this year they have been broody, so I doubt it!!!!!!
