Tigerlily
Hi all I am just interested... what time do your chooks go to bed? When our "Golden Girls" were young whippersnappers they stayed out till all hours and were awake for 5.45am But this morning... Mr TL came upstairs all worried at 7am saying they weren't out (they have worked out how to let themselves out of the eglu now!)... Anyway, he went to check and open the door... and found them all having a lie-in, bless them and it was a very sunny morning too! So I am assuming it is because they are all 3 years old now and need the rest Am I right in thinking this, or do yours behave differently? Thanks so much x
suzannejoy
Mine appear the mornings about 6.30 and of an evening go upto bed at 8 to 830 depends on the weather and cloud ect . Have no idea if the age of a chicken makes them more tired .
auntielizzie
My two have just gnow one to bed. They went into the house about 15 minutes ago, but I have to wait until it gets dark enough for me to need a torch before they will let me shut them in. If I go out too early, they come running down the ladder
