Perdi my 3 week old splash marans has a cut on her neck , She isnt bleading aad it looks to have scabed over im thinking while my nana was round today one on the cats has been to the brooder and caught her by her paw only thing i can think of , he ( as i think he is a boy ) is eating fine and doing everything all the others are doing and the others are not bothering him or pecking at him what should i do ? Redwing Posted June 10, 2011 Share Posted June 10, 2011 Anything you put on it will attract the others to it - chicks love wet, powdery or sticky feathers If its not red or bleeding then leave it If its red or bleeding use a cotton bud to apply some purple spray then give the chick a gentle blast with a hairdryer and put it back with the others when its feathers are dry Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
