Hi there.

We decided to let our brooder hatch some bantam eggs. The mum was a peeking.

 

I have seen a site which shows all sorts of chicks. I thouht it was feather site but I can't see Pekins anywhere on there.

 

My little one has a spot on the back of it's head & I seem to remember that can point to it being a boy or a girl.

 

It's so strong and healthy & so lovely to see Bertie being such a great mum. We hatched her ourselves last year and I am so proud of her!

 

Hope someone can jog my memory about where I can see some pics.

we were expecting them to be either cuckoo or silver lace peekin. Unless of course a different cockerel got at them before they were kept in a different enclosure. I will try to post some pics.

 

She ( ) is yellow with a brown spot on the back of her head. 2 brown stripes down her back and a broader brown stripe down the middle of her back. It's very cute and really strong.

 

Also I really need some advice about fluffy knickers who has been broody for weeks & looks so sad. I have posted in a new post.
