Griffin
Bless her socks, Tiger was so funny this morning She's broody, so last night I moved her to a broody coop and gave her six bantam eggs. This morning I let her out for her morning constitutional, and now that she's out of my main chicken run she could see Bridget and her 10 two week old chicks. Tiger took one look at them and I know what she was thinking, "yes mum, I'll take those ones there thank you please" She wasn't interested in getting back to her eggs, she'd spotted a ready made family and wanted that instead She was talking to the chicks and Bridget was shouting obscenities I've moved Tigers coop well away from Bridgets brood now, she's sat on her bantam eggs but I bet she's grumbling under her breath
CatsCube
Lol, I love it, chickens are such characters anyway but the way mums talk to their chicks is fantastic, when I go and take treats or fill if food containers etc I have Matilda making all her funny little noises at the chicks to tell them what to do, and then she starts clucking if she sees the other girls getting treats first.
