Margalot
Hi, I am growing some Kale plants for my OH he loves the stuff me... I have 8 plants that have gone mad since putting in about 6 weeks ago, but is it too early to take some of the bigger bottom leaves off? As the plant is still growing I dont want to take the youngest leaves just yet. Just needed some advice as I thought i wouldn't be picking leaves until late summer?? and didn't want to kill it! As we have quite a few plants could I get away with taking a few leaves off each one for dinner??

Couperwife
we did Kale last year (the chooks love it ) yes, you can pull the bottom leaves off, its like a cut and come again type thing, but you take the lower leaves enjoy cathy x
