kaza46
My eggs that are 14days incubated has got a little yolk on them from one of the eggs breaking by the mum. I have sorted of wiped it off but it happened about a week ago and i don't want to rub it off. If i wipe the egg will i do something to it, meaning does it have a special coat over the shell? Egluntyne
I would discard that egg, as infection will probably get in, and the fact that the yolk is leaking suggests that it won't be viable now. I'd get rid of it so as not to jeopardise the remaining eggs.
Redwing
If the yolk was from a broken egg as you indicate then I'd leave them as they are you'd do more harm than good cleaning them If one is leaking then as Egluntyne says do remove it
kaza46
I have fussed over these eggs so much i have probably ruined them anyway which im annoyed at myself for doing. I should have jut left them alone i am thinking now. Oh well cross fingers they are stronger than i realise. Thanks for the advice.
