My blue maran has suddenly started to lay eggs with very pale yolks, they are like egg white when fried! She is fed Layers' Pellets, some corn, s"Ooops, word censored!"s and free ranges. She also has the occasional runny poo. Could it be worms? They are given Verm-X 6 weekly. Another chicken on same diet still laying normal eggs. Any ideas for the reason would be appreciated?

how strange... maybe she needs a bit of a boost - poultry spice, more greens? tomatoes are supposed to be good for yolk colour I think.

Many keepers on this forum recommend using flubenvet instead of Verm-X

You could give them more greens, or anything that is supposed to make yolks yellower.

That is odd I use Vermex and it is meant to be used every month not 6 weekly so this may have not helped. I would recommend making it every month as that is what I do and it has worked wonders.

Verm- x is only marketed as a preventative not a cure - so if your chickens do have worms, they will need to be wormed with something that is actually licenced and at present flubenvet is the only licenced poultry wormer on the market.
