fluffyfeet
I was wondering if anyone on here might know more about this. The person involved only found out because of a voluntary cholesterol check, and now following another blood test has been told it has risen sharply again and that they will be 'fast-tracked' for more tests. The doctor mentioned leukemia as a possible area of concern which as you can probably imagine, has knocked them for six. Has anyone else any experience on this please? Janepie33
A friend has a similar problem and at one point she had to give blood weekly to get rid of the excess red blood cells. She felt quite tired and drained but she is OK. Can't remember what the condition is called I'm afraid. Will post if I remember. Hope your friend is OK.
