Scratch and Newton ice pods

Recommended Posts

one thing I always wonder about... given that vets always advise that rabbits must not over-heat etc, yet people put all these covers and things over their hutches in the winter months.

my previous 2 lived in the WIR with the chooks; they had a hay-stuffed nest in a wooden ark to go in but always chose to sleep out, even in the depths of winter! - even last winter when we had masses of snow.

Ruby and Arthur's hutch is in a very sheltered position, on slabs beneath an onduline roof, rain can only sometimes hit one end of it. I'm not planning to get a cover for the winter because I think they will be fine.

sorry, taking topic off on a bit of tangent there!
